Hi, my name is Blake Williams, and I'm asking for some help!
Recently, I was served a Gun Violence Restraining Order (GVRO) in California — not because I hurt anyone, made threats, or committed a crime, but because of a misunderstanding and a rushed judgment that doesn’t reflect who I am or how I handle firearms.
I’ve been a responsible, law-abiding gun owner for years. I’ve passed background checks, taken safety courses, and even recently completed my CCW qualification. I’ve never threatened anyone, never had a violent history, and I’ve been fully sober since November 2023 after overcoming personal challenges. I’m proud of my growth and the life I’m building now.
But that didn’t matter when law enforcement made a claim in retaliation that resulted in a GVRO. I now have to appear in court to fight to get my rights back, and I cannot do it without a strong legal defense.
This is where I need your help.

Why I’m Asking for Support:
Legal fees for this kind of case are extremely expensive — I’ve been quoted $15,000–$20,000 for proper representation. As someone who’s working hard to get back on his feet, this is simply out of reach on my own.
But I believe in due process. I believe in the Second Amendment. And I believe that people shouldn’t lose their rights without evidence or a fair hearing.
---
Where Your Money Goes:
Every dollar raised will go directly toward:
Hiring a qualified attorney to represent me in court
Filing fees and expert testimony (if needed)
Any related legal costs in this GVRO case
If for any reason funds go unused, I will either refund donors or donate the remainder to a civil liberties or Second Amendment legal defense organization fighting for others in similar situations.

Final Thoughts:
This is about more than just me — it’s about making sure no one loses their constitutional rights without cause or recourse. If you care about the Second Amendment, due process, or simply helping someone stand up for what's right, please consider donating or sharing this campaign.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading, supporting, and standing with me.
— Blake
