Season of Cheer!
Welcome to our 2025 Launch
We are excited to partner with Loudoun County Veteran’s Services for the 7th year in a row. We’ve had great success raising money for this organization in the past and look forward to having another great year!
This year we are adopting three very deserving veteran families. Welcoming back one of our families from last year’s campaign and adding two new families – all based in Loudoun County.
How it Works
Read the stories below of each veteran family in need. Donate an amount of your choosing.
Once the site closes at noon on 12/22 the final Season of Cheer contribution amount will be equally divided and distributed directly to:
- The Barnes Family
- The Myers Family
- The Kirchman Family
UPDATED: Our goal for this year is $6,000.00

BARNES FAMILY: The Barnes family, whose father was a U.S. combat veteran with two combat tours in Afghanistan, recently experienced his tragic death by suicide. His surviving spouse, who is also disabled, lives with their three children in eastern Loudoun County. They would significantly benefit from our support, particularly during the holiday season.
MYERS FAMILY: The Myers family includes Sammy, an 80-year-old Vietnam War veteran, his daughter Jenny, and her school-aged child. They reside in Ashburn. Sammy struggles with various physical ailments, including dementia. Despite working full-time and caring for her child, Jenny also provides daily care for her father. This family could certainly benefit from our support.
KIRCHMAN FAMILY: We have provided support to the Kirchman Family since 2019 and are happy to continue our support. Mike Kirchman is a disabled U.S. Navy Veteran and lives with his wife and young son Issac. Mike is unable to work due to his health complications. His wife was recently hospitalized and is now unable to work, which has severely impacted the family's financial stability. They would greatly benefit from our support during this challenging time.
