I am in a bad place: mentally, physically, and financially. I have been spiraling since the shooting at the gorge in June. It was unfortunately the same weekend as my wedding anniversary, which has been hard for me since Brian died. The shooting pushed me over the edge. I ended up in the Quincy ER for suicidal ideations. I spent the next month trying to heal and didn’t do the greatest job. I sunk into alcoholism. I finally felt good enough to get a job in August and found my dream job. But as much as I tried to fight it, I was still spiraling. October 28th, I attempted suicide. I spent 16 days in the hospital behavioral health unit. I am now in another care facility, trying to get back on my feet. After this, I will be in a rehab program for up to 90 days. I spent Halloween in the hospital and I’ll spend Thanksgiving, and possibly Christmas and New Years in an inpatient recovery program. It’s been really hard for me to miss the holiday season this year, but I’m really hoping to get better.
I am going to be filing bankruptcy for my old credit cards and loans but I need help keeping my phone on and my car insurance up to date. I really don’t expect anything and it’s so hard for me to ask for help. But I’ve gotten to the point where I have to. Even just kind words would mean the world. Thank you in advance.
