Many of you knew Rick and know how deeply he loved his fiancée, Karen. Before Rick passed away from Stage 3 colorectal cancer, he told everyone he could: "Please take care of Karen if anything ever happens to me." Today, we are asking for your help to honor that wish.
Karen has always been the kind of person who puts others before herself. If you needed help, she was there. If you were struggling, she would do everything she could to make things easier. She is the type of person who would give you the shirt off her back without hesitation—one of the most caring, generous, and selfless people you will ever meet.
Now, Karen is facing one hardship after another while still grieving the heartbreaking loss of Rick and trying to rebuild her life:
HVAC Replacement: Her air conditioning has completely gone out and needs to be replaced immediately. (Estimated: $8,500)
Vehicle Repairs: The transmission in her primary vehicle is failing, leaving her without reliable transportation. (Estimated: $5,500)
Roof Repairs: Recent heavy storms caused damage to her roof, resulting in active leaks that require urgent repair to prevent further structural damage to her home. (Estimated: $2,000)
