Hi everyone,
We are beyond excited and incredibly grateful to share that our 9-year-old son, Jus McGee, has officially qualified for the 2026 USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships in Los Angeles, California!
This opportunity didn't happen overnight. It is the result of countless early mornings, long practices, determination, discipline, and a dream that Jus has worked hard to achieve. Watching him earn the opportunity to compete against some of the fastest young athletes in the nation has been one of the greatest joys of our lives.
This season, Jus has achieved some incredible personal bests:
🥇 100 Meter Dash: 13.12 seconds
🏃🏾♂️ 200 Meter Dash: 26.73 seconds
🤝 4×100 Meter Relay: 52.47 seconds
These accomplishments have earned him a place on one of the biggest youth track and field stages in the country.
As many of you know, we are a family of eight. Jus has five amazing sisters who absolutely adore him and have been cheering him on every step of the way—from long practice nights to exciting race days. One of our greatest hopes is to have our entire family together in Los Angeles so we can all be there to support him as he competes in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Anyone who knows Jus knows that he doesn't just run for medals—he runs with heart. He is humble, respectful, hardworking, and encourages others just as much as he pushes himself. We are so proud of the young man he is becoming.
Traveling to the National Junior Olympics with a family of eight comes with significant expenses, including:
