I have the opportunity at the end of this summer to travel to Oulu, Finland on a mission trip through Northwest Church in Fort Worth. During this time, I will be working alongside a local church to share the gospel, encourage the believers there, and support the ministry already taking place there.
While Finland has deep historical roots in Christianity, particularly within the Lutheran tradition, it has become increasingly secular in recent years, with much of the population identifying as agnostic or atheist. This creates both a challenge and an incredible opportunity!
As a student pursuing a degree in Bible and Ministry at Harding University, this trip is especially meaningful to me. I feel called to grow not only in my faith, but also in my ability to serve others through ministry and evangelism. I am eager to learn, to grow, and to engage with a different cultures while sharing the love and the truth of Christ.
I am currently seeking support to help cover the costs of housing, food, transportation, and ministry-related expenses during this trip. If you are unable to give financially, the church would be deeply encouraged by prayer!
