We wish to thank everyone for their contributions to our family in this difficult situation. We are grateful, humbled and blessed beyond words for the support from family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and even complete strangers. Our hearts have been truly touched by each of you. As we begin the healing process we will never forget the compassion and overwhelming sense of community you have shown our family.

Update- I just wanted extend a huge thank you to everyone who has donated to the Harris Family. They were unaware that this fundraiser was started on their behalf, and although they are slightly uncomfortable not being the givers, because that is who they are, they are extremely humbled and grateful for the support from the community. There is a group organizing how to best meet their needs once housing is located but in the interim the financial buffer we have created will hopefully take some of the stress out of a terrible situation.
There is also hope that some if not all of the cats may have survived, the neighborhood has pictures, and we are actively looking for them. Thank you everyone- I love where I live.
Our neighbor's house was completely destroyed today in a fire. Thankfully the 2 adults and the three teenaged children were not home but their three cats remain unaccounted for.
The family has lost everything. This *spotfund has been set up to allow the community to extend a hand to the family. If you would like to help please consider making a small donation to help them through this traumatic situation.
