I am hoping to attend the 2023 Southeastern American College Dance Association (ACDA) conference in March. I am 1 of 5 dancers in a work that is being brought for adjudication to ACDA as well. I graduate in December of 2022, so I am unable to receive funding from the school post graduation. I would need to cover my own conference registration fee, food, hotel, and transportation.
I attended the 2022 conference in my region and learned so much! I was able to take a variety of classes from different instructors, and perform in the duet that was brought from my school as well. I hope to attend in 2023 to further my dance experience, gaining further education in the art.
