In 2017, my father got into a motorcycle accident that caused him to need disability to help with medical costs. Due to needing more than one form of income in a household of five, he was required to work, but due to disability, he couldn't work a sustainable job; they would take away the disability, giving us more expenses to deal with. Recently, he'd lost the disability due to working to help provide alongside my mother. The loss of his was a loss of both of the youngest children's disability income as well.
Even now, he is not earning enough as a school safety officer, and neither is my mother an RBT, to keep our house. With school starting, more expenses start up, and we don't have the time or the hands to make up the amount needed within an allotted time.
