FINAL UPDATE: after a month in the shop, we got the van back today in (so far) working order!
It came to just under $2,200 to replace and program the BCM (plus labor). The rest of the money from this fundraiser is being put towards buying parts to replace the oil, brakes on both sides, recoding keys, side mirror and start repairing the bumper that was smashed by our neighbors. Overall getting the van ready again for the next run (👀)
Right now we're going to close the fundraiser because all this help has gotten us so far already. We truly appreciate it and it's feels so good to be getting closer to getting this all over with.

Update:
Van is starting its 4th week in the shop. They're working on programming the part they replaced, and won't do anymore digging or trouble shooting till that's done. The shop is working with tech support from Ford, but communication is extremely slow, typically days between each response.. And this is just to get the first damaged part replaced, we don't even know if this will be the sure fix yet. So unfortunately, we won't have our own van back in time for this tour 💔
Fortunate news, Aurora and Daniel and our good friends in Throw Me The Remote are loaning us their van, "Band Van Bigelow" to rip it in. After so many setbacks we're still able to make it to half the dates we originally envisioned and that's all thanks to them.

Hey! I'm fundraising to get Torments tour van fixed by the end of the month.
About a month or two ago, Connors van was driven into by our neighbor while it was parked outside. Shortly after that, and while navigating insurance on getting it fixed, it started having electrical problems. Before we could even dig into what was wrong the problem became worse and it resulted in the van being completely undriveable. The gauges, charging and all other electricals locked up and became unresponsive.
After more digging we found out it was a body control module, long story short; getting it repaired didn't fix our problem. We got it towed to a shop that would agree to fix this van and we're facing a huge price tag to get it sorted out.
Torment is supposed to be leaving for tour at the end of this month, August 27th. This also leaves Connor without his only vehicle to work and back.
So far, we're looking at between 3-4 grand to pay off the diagnosis, parts and labor. Please kick us a few bucks to make this less of a crazy burden and get the van back on the road. Without fundraising the tour may not happen and Connor and I will still have to navigate paying for this fix.
