An OPEN LETTER to all my LinkedIn friends, past employer/s and other job seekers in my same situation.
It is with a heavy heart that I communicate that I now find myself in the job market after many years of fulfilled and successful accomplishments but the economic times are such that even a person who was very successful in the role and brought very impressive cost savings and process improvement to their role can still be deemed expendable.
I reach out to all hiring managers looking for a Procurement Director/Manager who is very skilled at cost reduction negotiations, improving broken processes and achieved, eight straight years of monthly on time and accurate SOX reporting activities.
It is amazing how devastating such a loss of a job can affect every aspect of your life and that of your family. The future is so uncertain right now, not knowing when the next chapter of employment will begin and how long it will take to get back on stable employment ground again.
All I can do is give this issue over to God to help me in all aspects of my changed life and pray that time will be short and I will be able to help a new company become more successful due to my dedication and perseverance to do my best work and always make decisions putting the best interest of the company first always.
