I’m officially taking the next step in my EMS journey: paramedic school.

Becoming an EMT was never the end goal for me. It was the foundation. EMS has always been more than a job in my life, it’s the environment I was raised in. I grew up around first responders and saw the reality behind the uniform: the long nights, missed holidays, emotional weight, and the quiet responsibility of showing up for people on the worst day of their lives. Those experiences shaped the way I see service, responsibility, and care.

Choosing this career wasn’t about excitement or adrenaline. It was about purpose. I’ve always been drawn to roles that require calm in chaos, compassion without hesitation, and the ability to make a real difference when it matters most. EMS gave me that, and becoming an EMT confirmed that this is where I belong.

I’m currently a licensed EMT and preparing to begin paramedic school in Spring 2026. Paramedic school is a major step forward, not just in scope of practice, but in responsibility. It requires intense academic work, long clinical and field hours, and a significant financial commitment. Tuition, textbooks, uniforms, equipment, certification fees, and reduced work hours add up quickly. The total cost of this program is approximately $10,000.

I’m not asking because I expect anything. I’m asking because I’m fully committed to this path and willing to put in the work, and because support, in any form, truly helps. Whether you’re able to donate, share this fundraiser, or simply encourage me along the way, it means more than I can put into words.

Thank you for supporting my education, my future in emergency medicine, and the care I hope to provide to others when they need it most.
