We’re starting this fundraiser for Lena during a really difficult transition in her life. Her service dog, who has been an essential part of her daily safety, independence, and emotional well being, had to retire much sooner than expected. While retirement is the right and humane choice for him, it has left a significant gap in the support Lena relies on every single day. Without that assistance, even simple routines have become more challenging, unpredictable, and overwhelming.
A fully trained service dog is not just a companion. It is life changing support. Lena’s next service dog will be trained to perform critical tasks including allergen detection, mobility assistance, psychiatric support, and seizure response. These are not luxuries. They are vital functions that help keep her safe, grounded, and able to navigate the world with more confidence and independence. The process of obtaining and training a service dog is extensive and costly, but it is absolutely necessary for her quality of life.
We are asking for your help to make this possible. Every donation, no matter the size, brings Lena one step closer to having the support she needs again. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser can make just as much of an impact by helping us reach others who may be able to contribute. It truly takes a community, and we are so grateful for any support, encouragement, or kindness you can offer.
This fundraiser will help pay for the dog and the training.
Thank you for helping Lena regain her independence, safety, and peace of mind. 💛
