I am on a Mission to achieve a coveted space on USA's Triathlon Women's 2028 Olympic team in hometown, Los Angeles and a spot on the 2028 Mixed Triathlon Relay team.
This will require me to:
1) Travel for racing at least 10 National and/or international races each season (roughly $36000/year)
2) To have some funds for maintenance of my bike, suits, shoes ($4000/year)
3) To stop working part-time and train fulltime ($ priceless!)
I am super conscious to spend these funds on only those things that will help to advance my career, to only travel in cost-effective ways that exploit my race readiness. I vow to frugally get the most of any funds I will receive.
I am looking for sponsors to help defray cost for product (Shoes, suits, nutrition) as well as healthcare insurance, and for the major items like Bicycle and travel funds. Until that happens, I am on my own.
Presently I am 9th ranked USA Women's Triathlete (with only 11 races to my name - 5x TOP 6 finishes in last 7 races. To compare myself vs the competition, I am being ranked vs Athletes that already have 3 years of points, yet, I have only 1 year of points.
These are my GOALS, that I believe are going to be incredibly difficult but attainable:
PER WORLD TRIATHLON RANKING SYSTEM
1) 2024 => USA-Top 10, Continent-Top 40, World- Top 200 (DID ALL 3!)
2) 2025 => USA-Top 5, Continent-Top 20, World- Top 100
3) 2026 => USA-Top 3, Continent-Top 5, World- Top 50
