My sister, Allyson, is facing a complex and overwhelming medical journey. She lives with Scheuermann’s disease, a spinal condition that causes chronic pain and physical limitations, and she has an upcoming neck surgery related to this condition. On top of that, Allyson is currently dealing with an undiagnosed blood condition that has led to a wide range of serious and frightening symptoms, including severe pain, neurological symptoms such as hallucinations, and ongoing health instability.
Because her blood condition has not yet been fully diagnosed, Allyson has undergone extensive testing, specialist visits, and medical procedures in an effort to find answers and effective treatment. Preparing for neck surgery while continuing this diagnostic process has been physically exhausting, emotionally draining, and financially overwhelming.
Medical bills related to testing, specialist care, surgery, medications, and recovery are quickly adding up, making it difficult for Allyson to focus on what matters most—her health and healing. We are raising funds to help ease the financial burden of her ongoing medical care so she can continue pursuing answers and move forward with surgery and recovery without the added stress of mounting costs.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will help support Allyson during this difficult time. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser or keeping Allyson in your thoughts means more than you know.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support as Allyson continues navigating this challenging journey.
