When Zora was diagnosed with canine lymphoma, our world shifted in an instant. Finding Hope in the Darkest Moments During Zora’s fight, we realized how difficult this journey is to navigate alone not just emotionally, but financially and logistically. High-cost diagnostic staging, chemotherapy protocols, and integrative comfort care quickly place a heavy burden on families who are simply trying to save their best friend.
We named this foundation after the Greek word for hope: Elpida . In Greek tradition, Elpida isn't just a passive wish; it is a confident expectation of strength, healing, and light even in the hardest times. That spirit of enduring hope became our guiding anchor.
