Miguel recently received notice from immigration services to appear at an Application Processing Center in Industry, CA to provide a photo and fingerprints to complete his application. On arrival he was unexpectedly taken into ICE custody and sent to the detention center in Adelanto, CA . ***UPDATE: Miguel was DEPORTED 6/19/26** This has left Mayra to manage their household alone, and we’re uncertain how long Miguel might remain in Mexico.
Miguel was born in Mexico and has been in the U.S. since he was just 11 months old, growing up in Los Angeles where he graduated from high school. He’s a dedicated family man with a clean record, working hard to provide for his loved ones. As he's now unable to do so, I’m hoping to gather money to help with their immediate expenses while we await a court date to resolve his situation.
