Hi, my name is Aquancia, and I’m a recent graduate, a mom, and a creative entrepreneur doing everything I can to build a stable future for my family.
Just a few years ago, I experienced one of the lowest points in my life—I was homeless, without a car, without a job, and struggling to see a way forward. But I didn’t stay there. I made a decision to rebuild my life from the ground up.
Despite those challenges, I recently graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Advertising & Brand Strategy and a minor in Marketing. During that time, I didn’t just go to school—I built businesses, led creative teams, and created opportunities for others.
I am the founder of:
• Creative Black Experience – a platform empowering Black creatives founded in 2022.
• PRETTYCRAVESUS – a brand focused on planning and lifestyle tools UGC Creation.
• TheAquaEffect – a creative agency specializing in branding, content creation, and strategy
Even in difficult seasons, I stayed consistent—booking clients, creating content, and investing into my craft. However, after losing my job due to a miscommunication and going months without stable income, I’ve now reached a critical moment. As well as not charging much for my services it’s been hard maintaining stability with my craft due to my circumstances.
I am currently raising $7,000 to:
• Pay $1,500 in rent due by April 20
• Catch up on overdue bills
• Maintain basic stability for myself and my child
• Continue building my businesses so I can generate consistent income
This is not just about asking for help—this is about protecting everything I’ve worked so hard to build. I am not starting from nothing, but I am at risk of losing the progress I’ve made.
