Hello! I’m a long time yoga instructor and have been dedicated to the KC community for over 10 yrs. Unfortunately I’ve come into some hard times with a recent accident. A drunk driver hit my driver side door in Westport on Saturday April 12th. I was picking up my dinner and he was inches away from hitting my body.
Bc there was no bodily injury insurance is not covering the accident in full. Instead, I have to pay $2k in order for repairs to begin.
I currently live paycheck to paycheck. My car is my life line to get to all my jobs. If I don’t show up I don’t get paid. I have spent money on Lyfts to continue my work as much as possible.
I usually don’t ask for help like this but lately I have felt called to continue to tell my story as my story continues to be written.
I celebrated 9 years of sobriety on April 11th. I have had to rebuild my life multiple times and the universe has always provided.
