Thank you so much for taking the time to read about my family. We have reached an extremely hard time in our life where all we can do is rely on faith, the power of GOD, and some good-hearted people or Angels out there in the world. We are a family of four trying to survive in this forever changing world. Me and my husband are blessed to have an 8-year-old daughter and an 11-year-old son. They are my heart and soul, and I will do anything in my power to make sure that they have everything they deserve in life!
Our original plan after the birth of our son was to move from a small one-bedroom apartment and back home (into my childhood room) with my parents, paying monthly rent while we focused on saving more and eventually buying a home we could call our own. But not long after baby number two came onto the scene, and now the need to move is even more severe than before. Saving the money needed for a down payment to purchase a new home proved to be a lot more difficult than imagined. Most of our money goes into gas, frozen dinners, and fast food each day as we do not have kitchen access. I myself could not work due to pregnancy complications, herniated discs, a knee fracture, as well as the need to breastfeed on a consistent basis. (Both kids breastfed until about 3-4 years old!) So we would need to rely solely on my husband's income which isn’t nearly enough to support a family of four members! So the years pass, Covid causes huge setbacks, and the housing market continues to skyrocket making our chance at homeownership seem little to impossible!
The hardest part in all this for me is that the kids are growing big and sleeping has become almost unbearable in one bed. Funds from this fundraiser will help us move out of our single room and secure a down payment towards new home, giving our family the space and comfort we desperately need.
