A few months ago, I met one of the most beautiful souls I have ever encountered. She is kind, humble, incredibly hardworking, and has a determination that is truly inspiring.
Two years ago, she bravely left her family, friends, and everything familiar behind in Egypt and came to the United States alone to build a better life.
Since then, she has worked seven days a week to support herself. Despite working tirelessly, she struggles to make ends meet. Through it all, she continues to have faith that God will see her through.
Recently, she told me she has no idea when she'll be able to save enough to go home and see her family again. The cost of the flight, along with keeping up with her bills while she's away, feels simply out of reach.
I would love to help change that.
