Seeking support after experiencing abuse in sport can be emotionally and financially overwhelming, creating barriers to the specialized care many athletes urgently need. Research continues to show that emotional, physical, and sexual abuse in athletic environments is far more common than many realize, and survivors are often left navigating the long-term impact on their mental health, identity, relationships, and sense of safety. Despite this, access to trauma-informed therapy and support remains limited for many athletes due to financial barriers.
Your donation can help provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy for athletes recovering from abuse in sport. Contributions to the Survivors Of Abuse In Sport Therapy Scholarship Fund go directly toward partial or full therapy fees over a 12-week period, helping survivors access consistent care, healing, and ongoing support.
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps make treatment more accessible and reminds survivors that they do not have to navigate recovery alone.
