On Jan 9th at the Winner gas station on 46th & 5th Ave near Field Elementary school in S Minneapolis while I was pumping gas,ICE agents approached me as I was getting back in my car. They shattered my car window, forcibly removed me ,shoved him and stepped over my foot , causing so much pain before loading me into an unmarked van.
I was transported to a local jail and 2 days later transported from MSP to Torrence County Jail in New Mexico where I experienced so much pain and suffering from the treatment of the guards, fights, mental abuse, neglect and emotional trauma and distress. I went from 205 pounds to 180 pounds in 6 weeks.
Multiple times I thought of taking my own life until I was able to talk to people who encouraged me to stay strong.
On Jan 13th,the physical abuse surrounding my detainment, & that the detention was unlawful because no movement in my case or bond hearing was set.Habeas corpus was filed arguing continued confinement was arbitrary and violates due process.I (with 5 other young detainees)were dropped at a bus hub in Albuquerque from the Torrence County detention facility around 1:15pm on Fri the 13th.
There was no time to contact anyone & the bus headed to Portland OR.Lucky Some church local people were there to receive us & support us with food and shelter when he got off the bus.
Im safe and well despite the circumstances.Im not ready to come back to S Minneapolis due to the trauma and I want to settle in Portland.
I left an infant and my girlfriend in S Minneapolis and some pending rent and utilities.
Please help me to get my family over to Portland, have a place of our own, peace of mind while I heal from this nightmare.I want to be a responsible man and provider and I’m asking for your help to get my life back on track.
