As I am sure that most are aware, Kyleigh and Geo had their 4lbs 6 oz baby girl prematurely on 05/13/2026. She arrived 8 weeks early! Baby is stable but has some underlining issues and will be staying in the NICU for 6-8 weeks. This was totally unexpected and although they were prepared for the birth of the baby, they didn't expect to have her so early. They are both struggling mentally, physically and emotionally. Although Kyleigh was forced to go on early maternity leave from her job, Geo is still working and will continue to do so by going between work, home and the hospital. They have been at the hospital non-stop and will be staying there until baby is released. They have had to absorb the extra cost of meals, gas going to and from home for showers and a change of clothes (45min drive) and will also have medical expenses. I am sure you can agree, this has taken a toll as they will have a long road ahead and are learning how to navigate through this new journey.
Therefore, we are asking for your help in hopes this will help a very stressful situation, be less stressful for them so they can focus on what is most important - the health and wellbeing of the baby.
