I’m reaching out to our community on behalf of my dear friend, Tracy Reed, a loving mother, devoted friend, and truly compassionate human being who is facing an unimaginable battle.
Tracy is a single mother of two adopted children, and she was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer that has metastasized to her bones. This devastating diagnosis has changed her life and has made it increasingly difficult for her to work full-time.
Tracy has spent her career as a CNA, dedicating her life to caring for and helping others, especially the elderly. She is the kind of person who is always willing to give, always thinking of others, and always there when someone needs a helping hand. She is a hardworking, loving, generous, and selfless person—and now, she is the one who needs our help.
While Tracy focuses on her health and undergoing crucial medical treatment, she is also trying to continue providing for her two young children. One of her children has special needs, adding another layer of responsibility and concern during an already incredibly difficult time.
The financial burden of cancer treatment, medical expenses, household bills, and caring for her children has become overwhelming. No parent should have to choose between receiving critical medical care and being able to provide for their children.
That is why I am asking our community to come together for Tracy.
