My name is Malissa and I'm fighting for my life.
I was fortunate enough to beat an early stage Breast Cancer Diagnosis in 2018. I went about living my life in recovery mode and then I got the shocking news of my life. I was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer in July 2022.
Since that point in time. I have tried to maintain and switched all of my daily habits. I have (1) juiced aggressively, (2) practiced meditation and (3) prayed.
I have attempted immunotherapy and 2 aggressive chemo options. Sadly, I learned that my body is not responding to the therapy and there is only one option left, which will devastate my body's immune defense and ability to fight. In investigating, in an attempt to save my life I have found a ray of hope. It is called IPT therapy, this type of therapy reduces the impact on the body and increases my quality of life. One great benefit is that is has the potential to actually put this Cancer in remission. I am asking my friends, family and anyone who has a heart to invest in hope, to invest in a David and Goliath fight. Even if I do not win, this therapy would add to the quality of life I have remaining with my family. I thank you in advance and my heart is filled with gratitude for the time I have now and what remains. Please help me slay this Giant and give me more time with my family.
