My name is Cedar and I am currently a Life Scout with Troop 778G in Fenton, MO. For my Eagle Project, I have chosen to help the Jefferson Barracks Veterans Hospital kayaking rehabilitation program. They teach wounded combat veterans how to kayak in the hospital pool, and then go out on rivers and lakes. The program is amazing, and you can read more about it here: https://www.stlpr.org/government-politics-issues/2015-11-10/the-road-to-recovery-for-local-veterans-might-include-paddling-a-kayak-around-a-pool-or-lake
I have been working with the Veterans Hospital since October creating a storage solution for their kayak paddles and life vests. My project is approved and ready to start!

I need your help to cover the cost of materials. The cost of the materials will be approximately $1,242.20. The cart will be made of aluminum due to the corrosive pool environment. Any funds raised above the cost of materials will be donated directly to the Jefferson Barracks Veterans Hospital.
Thank you for your support!
