Hi! My name is Avy Taylor. I am beyond honored to represent the City of Lewisville at Miss Texas 2024.
I am a mental health advocate, a standup comedian, and your rock and roll pageant queen!
My service initiative, the AmplifyYOU Project, is a mental health and creative education platform. With my crown, I've spoken at three K-12 events, one nonprofit luncheon, and one international corporate summit, and served as emcee for two local events. I have presented to over 125 students and over 200 working professionals, globally, on the importance of mental health and emotional understanding, women’s empowerment, and global mental health trends in the Generation-Z workforce.
I have also been grateful to be awarded thousands of dollars in sponsorships from national corporations to support my community service mission.
Miss Texas needs a queen who is bold, fearless, and unafraid to break barriers to connect with people. Outside of Miss Texas, catch me performing at my local comedy theater, Stomping Ground Comedy or find me doing a live music gig with my electric violin or bass!
