ATTN: Fatima's fund has been renewed at the following link so that she can continue as the genocide sadly is continuing. We thank you so much for your generosity and kindness. Please follow her journey here:http://spot.fund/7v617tmsc

ATTN: Just to clarify that Fatima does not currently have the amount collected, but it has been paid out in parts either weekly or biweekly for years now. She lives off of this fund currently - her basic necessities are covered by those of you who have so faithfully supported her. Thank you all. There is a separate fund for getting her family to safety that is being saved for that purpose. If you would like to contribute please reach out.

Hi, my name is Elayna. I have set up this fundraiser to help raise money for my friend Fatima Qudaih and her family, who are originally from Jabalia, Gaza. Fatima is now displaced with her three young children, her mother, and her disabled father who is a war victim and has diabetes and has struggled to access his medication for his condition since the beginning of the genocide. Insulin needs to kept temperature constant and genocide has not provided a refrigerator.

The occupation tragically bombed the family home and Fatima's husband was martyred leaving her to care for her two young children, mother and father alone. Unfortunately, the family now lives in a small tent and cannot afford everything due to the high cost of goods.

The funds from the fundraiser will go to help Fatima and her family buy food, bottled water, clothes, blankets, a tent, mattresses and any medicine the family may need. Any remaining funds from this will be used to help them escape the genocide in Egypt. The money raised from this fundraiser will be sent to Fatima via PayPal.

From Fatima:

Hello, I will tell you my story, I am Fatima from Palestine, Gaza. In the past, our life was full of stability, a beautiful home and family. However, everything changed when we witnessed the horror of war. The Israeli army forced us to leave our homes and due to the intensity of the bombing that was everywhere, we had to take refuge in temporary tents. Our life became a difficult struggle with no water, no food, no shelter, and no work. I lost everything, my past, and my present. However, in the midst of this chaos, my family remains my anchor and I am determined to protect them from any further harm. I appeal for your support to help us escape Gaza.

Provide psychological support to my children, my disabled father, my sick mother and my niece

For a new future for them that is worthy of their value as human beings. I only wish for a safe life for my family. I appeal to all kind souls to extend a helping hand to me and my family. Do not abandon us amid this ongoing conflict. We are human beings who deserve dignity and peace.

We should not let war separate us, but rather let us dialogue in harmony and protect the well-being of our loved ones.  "I beg you, don't leave me alone. We desperately need your help."

Just sending this out to clarify that the needs in Gaza have been ongoing and urgent. Roughly each week, I have sent Fatima the money from this account for that week. This means that over time we have indeed raised around 78,000, which sounds like a lot, but given the costs of survival in Gaza, has been around exactly what Fatima needed to survive the past few years with her family. She does not have a lump sum of $78,000. She has recieved over years and spent that amount, on food, shelter, medication, and other basic needs. Fatima can be expected to have on hand the amount that was raised that week, if that. I understand that some of these fund accounts are gathered to the point of a goal and then provided to the beneficiary ( her evacuation fund is that way).  Because of the nature of this need, we could not have done that. Fatima needs these funds to survive. Thank you for your support. She will still need your help for continued survival. To clear up confusion we may start a new fund. We are hoping the attacks will subside soon, but as they continue, she still needs your help.

Thank you so much for your support for Fatima over the past few months and years. She has endured unimaginable hardship and loss. Her only hope is the safety and survival of her remaining family. At this moment, winter is quickly arriving in Gaza, and Fatima has growing children who have just come through a genocide. They urgently need winter clothes, outerwear, and blankets. As such, we have raised Fatima's goal for the time being. We are attempting to try to get them out of Gaza. There is a separate fund that is raising money for the transfer fees for their evacuation, seen here http://spot.fund/kmsdssssc.  The evacuation money will not be removed from the fund and given until all of it is there. While still in Gaza she will still need your support at this current link but we are hoping to get her out as soon as possible. Thank you for all of your support. Warm regards.

As many of you know the situation in Gaza lately is always rapidly changing. There is a reduction of hostilities in Gaza at the moment, and the option to leave for a less war-torn place where Fatima's family might start fresh. This fund will still need help for as long as it takes for them to get out and get on their feet, but we know how many of you care about Fatima's well-being and future. If you are willing to support her ability to evacuate we have a separate fund for evacuation here. If you are able, please share the link below and her story with those you know.

The money in the evacuation fund will only be paid out when it is all there, allowing Fatima to pay the transfer fees instead of the weekly payouts from this basic needs funds, which she needs regularly.

Thank you for all of your support. You have provided a quality of life Fatima could not have had without your help and she looks forward to a place where they can be forever safe and self-sufficient because of all you have done. She can dream again. We can make it come true.

Fatima needs urgent help to travel south. Transportation costs to the South cost between $1500-$2100 just to travel. Once in the South they are charging $500 a month for tent space (sand... for ... sand) and of course as always they need food as well. Things are increasingly dangerous for a number of reasons where she is right now and bombing is ongoing. Please share her fund with those you know and contribute when able. Thank you for standing with Fatima.

Hello dear support community,

Today I needed to update Fatima's fund goal. We were very near to meeting it thanks to all of you and that is absolutely a thing to be proud of. I thank you so much for that. I know that Fatima's needs will continue past the completion of the goal and so I am increasing it so she can continue to recieve assistance as needed. I am going to start a separate fund soon to work towards evacuating her family. I will share it with you when we find out to costs and create it. This fund will remain for her day-to-day needs in the meantime.
