Michelle Fabry of Carrollwood, FL has spent years opening her heart and home to dogs that others have given up on — especially senior pups who need love, care, and a safe place to call home. She’s rescued countless animals, giving them a second chance at life.
Now, it’s Michelle’s turn to need our help.
Her beloved dog, Finn, was recently diagnosed with pancreatitis. The vet prescribed medication, hoping it would help — but overnight, Finn’s condition took a heartbreaking turn. By morning, he had lost function in his hind legs. Michelle rushed him back to the vet, where they immediately performed an MRI.
The results showed urgent need for emergency surgery. Thankfully, Finn made it through and is now able to walk again — carefully and slowly, but he’s improving each day.
While Finn is on the road to recovery, the vet bills have already reached $12,000 and are still growing with follow-up care and medications.
Michelle has never hesitated to rescue a dog in need, no matter the cost or the hours of care it required. Now, we have a chance to return the kindness she’s shown so many times.
Every donation — big or small — will help Michelle focus on Finn’s healing instead of the crushing financial burden. If you can’t give, please share this page so we can reach more people.
Let’s come together for Michelle and Finn. They’ve saved so many lives — let’s help save his. ❤️🐾
update: Finn is recovering nicely from the surgery..now our biggest battle is to see if he is going to regain control over his bladder. During the surgery they found that the disc was pressing on his bladder causing partial paralysis..now we wait to see how he recovers from that..he is slowly regaining mobility so that is a positive sign. Now I have to wait till Monday before I may be able to bring him home…we miss him very much and can’t wait to have him back home.
thank you to ever for all the support and well wishes it means the world to me ❤️
