Jay and Donavan Slaughter are two Hard working youth athletes who both strive for excellence in their passion for football. They have been given an opportunity to put them in the next best position for their futures. Recently they both tried out for a 7 on 7 football team and made the teams for their age range. Playing on these teams offer them more opportunities that just playing on a school team does not get them. These two young men strive for a better future and desire to play college ball when their time comes. Jay is currently approaching his junior year of high school and has over come many obstacles when it came to receiving the title he deserved. He works daily to maintain his skills and techniques he has worked so hard to build. Being able to play on this team will get Jay the exposer he needs for college recruiting. Jay dreams of becoming a D1 athlete and with this program he has a greater chance of that happening for him. Donavan is a rising middle schooler who has strived to become the greatest version of himself following behind his big brother. He dreams of playing for the NFL NY Giants one day. Donavan being able to play in this league will give him the confidence and techniques needed to continue to progress himself more in the sport he loves. Jay and Donavan understand everyone may not be able to help but just by simply sharing their story they greatly appreciate you. If you are able to support them in any way we truly appreciate it. Often the tournaments can become costly and our boys wanted to be able to help raise some of their fees on their own to help their parents Christopher and Rebecca Slaughter. They will be traveling to different states to play in these tournaments as of now they will play Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The team they have been accepted on is number 1 in the state of Georgia and number 3 in the nation. This is a real opportunity for them to be known and help pave their future in the game they love.
One of jays favorite quotes is: "I may win and I may lose, but I will never be defeated" -Emmitt Smith
