My cat, Athena, has been my rock through some of the toughest times in my life. She’s not just a pet to me—she’s my constant companion, my emotional support, and the only love that’s stayed by my side through it all.
Athena has seen me through countless hardships, and she’s the reason I’ve kept going when everything seemed too hard. From sleepless nights to difficult days, Athena was always there to curl up with me, offering comfort and companionship. She was with me during some of the darkest moments of my life, and now that she’s passed, I want to honor her and keep her close.
Unfortunately, due to my financial situation, I don’t have the funds to give her the peaceful goodbye she deserves. I’m trying to raise $500 to cover the costs of cremation and burial, so I can keep her ashes with me and scatter them in the places we loved to hike together. These places were where Athena and I shared some of our happiest moments, and it would mean the world to me to have part of her there, forever.
