In the early morning hours on Monday, as everyone slept, the family's dog, Rubble alerted Mom, Toni something wasn't right upstairs. She went to investigate and found thick black smoke filling the hallway. Mom, Toni and Dad, Steve, were thankfully able to get everyone out of the home and call 9-11. Thankfully, Lorelei was not home that evening, but her bedroom took most of the brunt of the damage from the fire and she lost everything. And when I say everything, I mean she has only the clothes and few items she had with her. Tragically, they lost Lorelei's beloved pet turtle, Carl, in the fire. So along with losing everything, she now has to deal with the loss of her beloved pet. We all know Lorelei. She is such an amazing, loving soul, free spirit and stays true to herself always. Let's help Lorelei start to pick up the pieces and replace much needed items such as clothing, her school backpack, and personal items she has an immediate need for. Mom and Dad do have insurance, however, it may take months to see this help to fix all the damage. This family needs help right now to meet their daughter's needs.
