I recently managed to leave an abusive relationship, and while it was a difficult decision, it was one I had to make for my safety and well-being. Now, I'm in La Fayette, Georgia, trying to rebuild my life from the ground up while attending school full time. This past year has been tough, but I'm determined to move forward and create a stable and secure environment for myself.
Right now, I'm in need of a new place to call home—a space where I can feel safe and focus on my studies without constantly looking over my shoulder. I've found a potential apartment, but the initial costs are overwhelming. With deposits and basic necessities to cover, the $2,000 goal for this fundraiser will help me secure housing and settle into a new chapter of my life.
My schedule is packed with classes and schoolwork, making it incredibly challenging to take on extra work at the moment. I believe education is key to changing my future, but I can't do it alone. Every bit of support will help ensure I have a safe place to live while I pursue my degree and work towards independence and healing.
