Currently, I am trying to raise funds to go to grad school. I was accepted into University College London for Theoretical Psychoanalytic Studies but do not know if I will have full funds. Specifically, I am not sure if I will have enough to pay for a visa to move, a plane ticket, or to start a new lease. Once I arrive, I will be going on a scholarship so I will be good when I get there, but I need money in order to move.
I have been trying to save money for the past year, but there have been many obstacles that were in my way. My work denied me hours multiple times and took me off of certain days that they told me I would have for my entire time there. My rent and utilities were raised, my second job no longer has any hours, and my car constantly breaks down which costs hundreds of dollars to fix (I must fix it because it is the only way I can get to work). I do not have any financial support so dealing with these circumstances is always hard.
I am currently working at another job full-time, but given that there are only a couple of months before I must move (August), it seems that I won't be able to save enough money.
So, I am asking for donations to help fund the initial move. Any amount is appreciated.
