Hello,
My name is Annie Gilbreath. I am a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I just turned 72 years old this year. I never thought I would find myself needing to ask for help from others. I have worked all my life and have given everything I could to my family and friends. Now I am needing to ask for help from you. My husband and I are retired and live on a fixed income, which most of you know is a struggle at times.
My problem, began around the first of the year when I started losing crowns and my teeth started chipping and crumbling apart from eating the most simplest foods. Because of the lack of money and my fear of dentist, I could not get my teeth fixed.
Several weeks ago I ended up getting a severe infection from an abscess tooth, one which was missing the crown and almost put me in the hospital. I have been unable to eat solid foods and could not talk or open my mouth to eat because of the pain in my jaw, the left side of my face was so swollen and painful to the touch, I have lost a lot of weight which has made me very weak. I have experience staph infections twice in my life where pick lines were placed in my arms to administer IV antibiotics every four hours. That is something I would never wish on any one and I’m trying to avoid this happening to me in the near future because of my decaying teeth. The pain became so unbearable my husband took me to Textoma Dentures And Implants Office in Sherman Texas. they put me on strong antibiotics and informed me that all my teeth needed to be extracted and that I would need dentures. We immediately tried to apply for credit,we were able to obtain enough for just the extractions but not enough for the dentures so at this point I can get all my teeth pulled to prevent any further infections and not have any teeth after that. I can’t imagine living without teeth for the rest of my life. This is why I am asking for your help.
