Welcome! My name is Katherine and I am running this campaign on behalf of my very dear friend Bayan.
Bayan and I have been friends for around a year and a half, and in that time, I have come to think of her as an extension of my own family. Bayan has two beautiful children, Ameer and Leen, she is a devoted and adoring mother, doing her very best to keep her babies alive through an ongoing active genocide. 
Ameer and Leen have consistently gone without enough to eat throughout the past 22 months. They have continued to hear and see frightening things throughout this time and Bayan has done everything in her power to protect and distract them.
Bayan has come up with a beautiful project in which she is providing education for small children in her area. Bayan lives with her immediate family (including sisters, brother), in her parents’ home, and this campaign will benefit her children and her family members living in the home. Bayan also does her best to provide for extended family members.
Bayan is located in the North, where famine has been most persistent and costs have remained highest for all basic goods. Bayan has been through unending trauma and stress in the last two years but has persisted for the sake of her children.
