I find it incredibly hard to write this because there are simply no words to express the devastation. The hopelessness of when there is nothing you can do but watch what once was your life be rendered into nothing more than smoke and ash. This was our home, its decades of memories, it kept us safe, it sheltered us, it was a gathering place for celebrations and a place of comfort in times of sorrow, it was our refuge. I never once imagined it not being here.. the loss in its self is horrific. We are so grateful that no one was physically hurt. The days after the smoke have finally settled, the experience in itself has been emotionally tormenting. Mom did not have home owners insurance, with that being said, everything is a total loss. She has been left with absolutely nothing. Even the smallest gift would be a start in helping her to get back on her feet, this is going to be a complete reboot for her. Monetary is of no replace. We are forever grateful for your help. Thank You for all of the prayers and support.
