Yesterday, I got one of the worst calls any wife could ever receive.
My husband and his coworker, who is also one of his close friends, were involved in an explosion.
Right now, I’m asking everyone to please pray for both of our families. My heart is broken—for us, for them, and for everyone affected by this tragedy.
Michail is currently in critical condition in the Burn ICU on a military base, receiving the best care possible. We are trusting God with every second, every decision, and every step of his recovery.
If you know me, then you know Michail is my best friend, the love of my life, and Ella and Greyson’s favorite person in the world. He is one of the strongest people I know—mentally, physically, and emotionally. Even in the midst of this unimaginable situation, he has already shown us the incredible fight he has in him and how determined he is to come home to us.
Please continue to lift up Michail, his coworker, their families, the medical teams caring for them, and everyone involved. We know God is bigger than this tragedy, and we are believing in His healing, His strength, and His faithfulness.
