Sometimes you need your community. This is one of those times. June 20th a small fire started in the ceiling of our apartment. We all made it out okay, a very angry Muffins included. At the time it only affected the bathroom, but made the apartment uninhabitable.
June 21st it reignited to a 3-Alarm fire that burned strong for 4+ hours, the roof collapsed, and we have lost everything, likely including Jordans car from falling debris. Our building is condemned and the apartment is a total loss.
June 28th we got the keys to a new apartment, and have been slowly furnishing it and outfitting it with the necessary items, and decor that makes a living space a home. Muffins has acclimated like no ones business , but Bunny has been out of work due to a reactivation of her CPTSD and will be for a little bit longer (early to Mid August most likely) so anything helps us pay bills and furnish out new home to make it comfortable while we all recover.
