My name is Ella Koehnen and I am putting on a Talent Show to raise money for  'A Step Beyond' which is a program that supports dance in underserved areas. I want to raise money for this charity because dance is everything to me and I want all kids to have the opportunity to experience dance. When I was 6 years old, I had a lot of anxiety and felt afraid all of the time. I was even afraid to walk into my classroom at school and at dance. I would sit outside of dance and cry. I wanted to walk in but I just couldn't. After receiving support from my dance teachers, friends and family, I worked through my anxiety and started taking dance classes all the time. When I dance, I feel free and have no fear. Dancing is my happy place! Please help me give the gift of dance to all kids!
