Help Mary Create A Safe Home For Dogs & Herself

Hi, I'm Mary, and I'm reaching out for help to create a safer, healthier home for myself and my dogs. Over the past year, I've faced some tough challenges with my bathroom and the safety of my yard. Last year, a massive leak in my bathroom was fixed with the help of my roommate's dad, but recently another leak appeared on the other side. When we tore down the wall, we discovered severe mold, which has made the bathroom unsafe and in urgent need of professional repair and mold removal.

On top of that, I've been working hard to keep my dogs safe, especially since I adopted my friend's dog after their main caregiver passed away in 2023. Despite my best efforts to train her, she wandered into my neighbor's yard last year and ate scraps buried in their garden. Thankfully, she recovered, and I managed to install a small do-it-yourself fence on one side of the property. However, I haven't been able to afford to secure the larger side, which leaves my dogs at risk of wandering again. In February, my roommate brought another dog into our home, which has made it even more challenging to contain both dogs in the yard and keep them safe. Last year, because I didn't have a proper fence, my dog almost got hit by a truck, which was terrifying and made me realize how urgent this need is.

I've been working four jobs to keep things afloat without asking for help, but it just isn't enough anymore. Any support you can offer will go directly toward professional bathroom repairs, mold removal, and fencing materials or installation to keep my dogs safe.
