We are reaching out to the community for an incredibly urgent, life-threatening crisis. A beloved 61-year-old member of our community is currently fighting severe congestive heart failure. Because of his grueling medical battles, he has been unable to work, causing him to fall 2.5 months behind on his rent.
He does not have a family support network to lean on, which is why we are stepping up to build a safety net for him.
His landlord has generously agreed to halt legal action until September 3rd, giving us a strict, narrow window to raise the $1,500 he owes in back rent. If we cannot raise this amount by the deadline, eviction papers will be filed, and a medically fragile man will lose his home. Extreme stress is actively worsening his heart condition, and he needs a stable place to recover.
How Your Donations Will Be Used:
$1,500 will go directly to his landlord to pay off the 2.5 months of back rent and permanently stop the eviction.
Any additional funds raised will cover standard credit card processing fees and help him buy the life-saving heart medications he currently cannot afford.
