Dysautonomia caused by covid attack on brain stem/vestibular system and mold affect on the brain. That's the official diagnosis I've been given after a two and half hour long testing appointment with a neurologist in Massachusetts.
The testing showed that my left brain took the hit worse than my right brain. It's not sending proper signals to get blood flow where it needs to go. My blood pressure is severely crashing each time I stand and my heart rate is jumping 30 beats. I experience symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, poor fluid retention, central sleep apnea (my brain not telling my lungs to breathe while asleep), heart palpitations, blurry vision, light sensitivity, hearing loss, vestibular impairment, migraines, full body pain & weakness, and shortness of breath.
What's the good news? The good news is my body is checking every box for being able to recover. There's a therapy program to retrain my brain. It would be an intense 10 day therapy of two hours every day and once a month after that.
This has been a really really long exhausting road. I'm a damn hard fighter and I have two beautiful children to live for and my angel husband.
I have to ask for help in this endeavor, because I simply can't do it alone. If you're in a position to help, would you please considering donating to my therapy fund. This is purely for the cost of covering the dysautonomia clinic treatment. Not the cost of travel or stay.
I am grateful for the help we've received this far and I have not given up hope yet.
