Happy New Year, everyone.

Thank you so much for your recent contributions — your support is truly carrying us through.

Our washing machine broke yesterday and replacing it has become urgent. Before a new set can even be installed, we have to relocate the plumbing and electrical lines. Plumbing alone is estimated at $921–$1,661, and electrical work typically adds $300–$1,500, putting the total in the $1,200–$3,200+ range — an expense we weren’t prepared for.

With my hand surgery coming up soon, this setback hits especially hard. I’m doing everything I can to keep our home running and make sure Fred has what he needs, but I can’t manage this alone.

If you’re able to continue supporting or sharing our fundraiser, it would mean the world to us. Every bit of help makes a real difference right now.

Thank you for standing with us.  Thank you again!

Thank you all so much for your generosity and for sharing this page with others. Your kindness continues to lift us up in ways we feel every single day.

Your recent contribution helped us purchase a new lock for our front storm door from Lowe’s. It cost $75.00 plus labor and having that extra bit of security means more to us than you know.

We still have many major repairs ahead — a new roof, removing old plaster in three rooms, installing insulation and sheetrock, encapsulating the crawlspace, adding two small propane fireplaces, rebuilding the fireplace mantel, updating the bathroom and kitchen for safety, replacing flooring throughout the house, rebuilding the back porch with a raised floor and sliding door, replacing the hot water tank with a tankless system, adding a water purifier, and installing new siding.

It’s a long list, but every step forward brings us closer to being able to age in place safely, in a home that supports our health, comfort, and peace of mind. Your support is helping us make that possible.

Blessings to each of you, and Happy New Year. Your generosity truly touches our hearts.

Dear Family and Friends,

Fred and I are deeply grateful for your kindness and support, especially during these challenging times.

Fred was recently in the ER with a virus, and I’ve been struggling with diverticulosis, which has made eating difficult for several days. Thankfully, I’m able to eat a little today, but there are still days when pain keeps me from doing so.

On January 28, 2026, I will undergo surgery on my right hand—a two-in-one procedure to repair carpal tunnel and thumb arthritis. As you can imagine, recovery will limit my ability to manage daily tasks.

We are asking for help with:

  • Meals to keep us nourished and ease the burden.

  • Cleaning to maintain a comfortable home environment.

  • Transportation to and from doctor’s appointments out of town.

Your donation will go directly toward covering this essential support. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us face this season with strength and dignity.

With gratitude, Deborah & Fred

Thank you so much for sharing this page and for your generous donations. Your kindness continues to lift us up during difficult times.

We are in urgent need of help with household chores, cooking, and transportation to Fred’s doctors’ appointments — many of which are an hour or more away. This morning, I had to call 911 to take Fred to the ER, as you may have seen in the video I posted. The stress of worrying has been overwhelming, and I realized I hadn’t eaten since the night before.

Your support — whether by sharing this page or donating — means more to us than words can express. Every gesture helps lighten the load and reminds us we are not alone.

I also want to share that I will be having surgery on my right hand soon, and I am waiting for the surgeon to set the date. This will make daily tasks even more difficult for a time, so any help with meals, chores, or transportation will be especially meaningful.

We know this is a busy holiday season, and our hearts go out to everyone balancing their own commitments. Please know that even the smallest act of kindness makes a big difference for Fred and our family.

With gratitude, Deb

My husband Fred had heart attack, Thursday Nov 13 after the pharmacy gave him two vaccines for RSV and Flu. He was admitted to ER by ambulance.

I was admitted to ER same day as I was in great deal of pain.

Good news, Fred do not need surgery and change with new medication then follow up with his PCP this Wed Nov 19th and cardiologist.  He is being discharged from the hospital today Nov 16th after 3 days.

As we get older the less ability to repair or renovate for us to age in place.

Feel free to click donate or share on your social media.

Thank you everyone for your prayers and support.
