Before any war started, boys in the street would fly kites to pass time. Young children run to get an education. The streets were filled with people trying to accomplish their everyday tasks. The air was clear and you could walk without feeling in danger. The hills rolled with grass and the scene was ever so breathtaking.
However, when other countries were involved, it took the lives of many. The innocent suffered the most, they were caught in the crossfire. They struggled for years living life with war destroying their villages. Women were stripped of their right to become educated. The power of the country fell into the hands of tyrants. Soon after the American troops left the Taliban took over, causing ruin as they moved throughout the country. Now Thousands of citizens are left homeless, years of fighting caught up to them. Kids are left orphans due to bombs invading their homes. The ones who claimed to assist left with resources that only benefited them. In the end, the people of Afghanistan are left to pick up the pieces of what was once their home.
