Rainbow Service Dog Inc. is asking for help because Wawona fought hard, and now we need our community to stand with her. 💔🐾
What began as a hopeful delivery turned into a life-threatening emergency. Her puppies were simply too large to be born naturally, and after hours of distress, the veterinarians had no choice but to perform an emergency C-section to save Wawa and her babies. This procedure was urgent, unplanned, and costly, but it saved four lives.
By grace and quick action, Wawona and her three boys made it through surgery. 🙏✨ Now she faces recovery, post-op care, medications, and monitoring. While her newborn pups begin their fragile first days of life, momma and her babies are doing well at the moment.
