Hi everyone! I'm in a place where I really need some help. I'm trying to receive my bachelors degree at UMHB, but I'm in a really tight financial spot. I decided to take a semester at Texas state to try and save some money, but that resulted in me owing them some money out of pocket that I cannot pay in time for next semester to come around. Texas State needs this amount paid in full in order to release my school transcript back to UMHB, and I cannot re-apply to UMHB until that happens. I have been working full-time to try to pay this off, as well as offering my painting services in the form of pet portraits, but due to Covid as well as slow business, my work hours have been cut in half, and my pet portraits have not taken off in a way that I had hoped. I already have prolonged my educational career by several years due to financial struggles, and to have to wait an extra semester to re-apply would only set me back further. I have already paid off over half of what I owe to Texas State, but as time draws closer to the end of the current semester and the beginning of the next one, I am beginning to worry about getting the remainder paid off in time. Anything you would be willing to donate will help tremendously. I only owe Texas State around $2,000 at this point, but I fear that I am running out of time. Thank you all!
