Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
A few months ago, I was diagnosed with a rare cancer--osteosarcoma. I had surgery to remove the tumor and a few bones in my hip, so I am learning how to walk again. This has been the most painful time of my life; I am scared, hurting, and in pain.
Currently, I am receiving treatment for my cancer--however, I still need to learn how to walk again. I need a lifelong companion that will help motivate me and support me in my journey to heal. In the future, I seek to use some of these funds to certify my companion animal as a service dog so that I will never be alone in dealing with this awful condition.
