(Note from her daughter)
My mom is Edeana Pierce. She was 61 years young, born in Spokane, Washington. She has lived the last 30 plus years in the Silver Valley where she worked at Conoco by Dave Smith’s in Kellogg for years and then substituted and worked for Wallace School District. Edeana also loved doing samples for Walmarts in the area. I'm her only child, a single mom with 4 children: 3 boys and 1 a girl ages 4, 8, 10 and 17. My mom was so loving and caring and everyone who met her had a place in their heart for her, as she did for them! We miss her so much, I don’t know what I’ll do without her. Her husband passed away with cancer four years ago and finances have been a struggle. It was excruciatingly hard to see her suffer so greatly, but she fought so hard to live through it all because she didn’t want to leave us. Her frail body finally succumbed last week. My mom pre-bought a gravesite and headstone but unfortunately the $1800+ cremation fees are not included and I just don’t have it. I am trying to go through the process of getting some assistance from Shoshone County but as many government programs go, it takes time and it is a bit complicated and not guaranteed. Even if they cover some, there will be a balance left over for myself to make-up the difference. In addition there are fees for death certificates etc. I hate asking for help, but I don’t have any other choice. If you knew my mom, please share this with friends and donate if you are able. If she is a stranger to you, just know that she was a wonderful person, and always helped anyone she could in time of need. Even $5 or $10 will help us and I would be so grateful. Thank you❤️❤️
